Willem Roos was born in The Hague (the Netherlands) in 1950.
He graduated at the Royal Academy of Art in 1977.
He went to Italy in 1981, chose the Chianti area as his home and source of inspiration for his paintings.
He had several expositions in Tuscani and the Netherlands.
Since 2002 he is back in the Netherlands and lives in Terneuzen.
